A Little Bit About Me
Hello, my name is Rezoan Hasan. I was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, but I spent 5 years of my childhood in Gifu, Japan, while my parents were Ph.D students. These were some of the best memories from my life. I moved to the United States when I was six years old, and my family settled in Indianapolis, IN, where I have lived since.
I attended IUPUI and earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2015. I worked as a high school science teacher for four years. I currently remotely work as an administrator for a large utility company. I am also working on earning an MBA degree from the University of Southern Indiana and anticipate finishing my degree in 2023 inshaAllah. I am continuously trying to improve myself professionally, and I am inclined towards a wife that is also doing the same inshaAllah.
My family consists of my mother, father, older brother, and myself. I have extended family in the United States (Philadelphia and Florida namely), Toronto, Canada, Australia, and Bangladesh. I have a close and warm relationship with my immediate family. I currently reside with my mother and father. My brother, his wife and two daughters live in my neighborhood. I love being an uncle and I am very close with my two nieces. I look forward to being a husband and father and I anticipate having one child, and I am open to discussing the number of children I have with my wife. Living at home has allowed me to minimize my expenses and save well for my future inshaAllah. I have no debt whatsoever. I am not an excessive spender, nor a materialistic person. I am happy to be generous with my family within my means. After marriage, I expect to get an apartment with my wife to begin our new life together inshaAllah. I would prefer to stay in the Indianapolis, IN area, but I am not inflexible depending on where life takes me in the future.
Islam is important in my life. I pray five times a day, read the Quran, and am currently taking tutoring classes with a Quran teacher online to improve my tajweed, and in addition to mandatory fasting, I try to complete sunnah fasting as well. During Ramadan, I typically attend taraweeh prayers in the masjid. I give in charity both zakat and sadaqa. Alhamdulillah, I have been blessed to have been able to do Hajj in 2015. In accordance with the sunnah, I have an easy going personality and would describe myself as patient and calm person even in frustrating situations. I am always trying to improve myself Islamically, and I seek a wife that is also doing the same inshaAllah.
My hobbies include keeping up with sports, particularly football, basketball and soccer. I also really enjoy Animal Planet, National Geographic, and the like. I am an avid movie fan. When I have the opportunity, I also really enjoy playing basketball with friends. I enjoy spending time with family, doing family activities both outside and at home. When I have the opportunity, I enjoy travel. I had the opportunity to travel internationally, and this is something that I would like to continue with my wife inshaAllah. I am naturally a homebody, but I would be happy to share my current hobbies and pursue new hobbies or interests with my wife, inshaAllah.
I am a simple and sincere person looking to build a positive relationship and family with my spouse and life partner through prioritizing Islam and family, and I am looking for a spouse who seeks the same.
